The Rhein - Valley Hospital in Nakuru-Kasambara opened in 2004 and is directed by Ruth Schäfer of Switzerland. The hospital relies solely on donations for buying food and medicine for the poor and suffering locals. Moreover, all funds are used directly for patient care. Apreciating the work of the IDP's


Today we cleaned all outside toilets and showers. The workers and the helping IDP's made a good job and I thanked them for their work which is not common among the Kenyas; a white women thanking black people is highly appreciated here.
