The Rhein - Valley Hospital in Nakuru-Kasambara opened in 2004 and is directed by Ruth Schäfer of Switzerland. The hospital relies solely on donations for buying food and medicine for the poor and suffering locals. Moreover, all funds are used directly for patient care. Kontrolle des Zuckerspiegels

Unsere Laborantin Caroline hatte heute einen strengen Tag im Labor. Sie testete am frühen Morgen den Zuckerspiegel unserer langjährigen Patienten, die jede Woche bei uns vorbei zur Kontrolle kommen müssen. Die ständige Kontrolle des Zuckerspiegels ist eine sehr wichtige Kontrolle, die unter Umständen Leben retten kann. Während des Tages führte sie dann mehrere Aids-Tests durch.
