The Rhein - Valley Hospital in Nakuru-Kasambara opened in 2004 and is directed by Ruth Schäfer of Switzerland. The hospital relies solely on donations for buying food and medicine for the poor and suffering locals. Moreover, all funds are used directly for patient care. Zeit für die Medizinkontrolle

Draussen strömender Regen, deshalb hatten wir heute nur wirkliche Notfälle. Viele Patienten die eigentlich zur Kontrolle kommen sollten blieben aus. Der Regen weichte den Gehweg und die Strasse so auf, dass ein Weiterkommen sogar zu Fuss unmöglich wurde. Unsere Medizinangestellten nutzten deshalb den Tag um die Medizin nach verfallenem Datum zu Kontrollieren.
